Rep. Dan Branch made a visit to Ignacio Zaragoza Elementary School in East Dallas. Along with visiting with Principal Alejandra Lara, Dan led the pledges and minute of silence at the weekly assembly, helped honor recent award recipients and stopped by the classrooms of some of Zaragoza 's top teachers.

Rep. Dan Branch was the featured speaker at the Greater Dallas Chamber's Leadership Dallas class for December. Leadership Dallas serves to identify, educate and engage potential local leaders. The current class is set to graduate in early 2008.

Rep. Branch joined Mrs. Janice Knott's senior U.S. History class to discuss the history of the Texas Legislature. After the presentation, Dan fielded student questions on what the legislature was planning on doing in the upcoming session.
