Stonewall Jackson Elementary Visit November 2007 Rep. Dan Branch visited Stonewall Jackson Elementary in Near East Dallas. The Representative helped lead the morning announcements, the pledges of allegiance and the minute of silence. Afterwards, he visited with Principal Olivia Henderson, and various teachers and students hard at work. November 7, 2007 — Rep. Rep. Branch visits with the 3rd grade teachers at one of their curriculum planning meetings. Branch had the chance to thank the teachers for all of their hard work.

The representative stops by a ballroom dancing class in the gymnasium. The class incorporates many of the hearing impaired and deaf education students that attend Stonewall Jackson into an environment which many deaf students in other areas might not have the opportunity to enjoy. The school and community pride themselves on being leaders in elementary education to deaf students.
