El Centro College/Texas Workforce Commission Check Presentation July 2008 Representative Dan Branch joined Texas Workforce Commission Chairman Tom Pauken and El Centro College President Dr. Paul McCarthy at the Bill J. Priest Institute for Economic Development in South Dallas for a check presentation benefitting El Centro's Skills Development Fund. The grant, totaling near $800,000, will go towards the creation of over 150 jobs, and the upgrading of nearly 450 more jobs through the Aligned Models for Talent Expansion Consortium (AMTEC) a group that consists of seven Dallas-area businesses. Rep. Branch joins TWC Chairman Tom Pauken on stage at Hoblitzelle Auditorium at the Priest Institute.
