Blondes vs. Brunettes Dallas 2008 August 2008 Rep. Branch served as emcee of the opening ceremonies and officiated the coin toss at the start of the 1st annual Blondes vs. Brunettes Dallas Powder Puff football game.  Young women from the Uptown Dallas area met at Griggs Park in Uptown for the football game after raising over $60,000 to benefit the Alzheimer's Association of Dallas, more than tripling their initial goal of $20,000.  In honor of the outstanding philanthropic efforts, Rep. Branch presented the event organizer, Erin Finegold, with a flag flown over the Texas Capitol in Austin. Rep.
