2009 Region 10 Teacher of the Year Luncheon and Awards Gala August 2008 Representative Dan Branch gave the opening remarks at the 2009 Region 10 Teacher of the Year Luncheon and Awards Gala. Teachers and administrators from nine counties and over 80 school districts across north Texas, including Highland Park ISD and Dallas ISD, were on hand to honor the award recipients at the Patty Granville Arts Center in Garland, Texas. Boy Scouts led the crowd and head table in the saying of the pledge of allegiance and the singing of National Anthem.
