Rep. Branch met with the new Dean of Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Lawrence Wolinsky in late January.  Dr. Wolinsky provided a tour of the facilities and Rep. Branch met with several dentistry students, as well.

Rep. Dan Branch (R-Dallas) welcomes Dallas' newest resident Khloe Kardashian with a flag flown over the Capitol.  Ms. Kardashian, having only been in Dallas for a week, held a holiday toy drive at Dallas City Hall benefiting Children's Medical Center of Dallas.

Rep. Dan Branch (R-Dallas) gave the keynote speech at the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce "e2e Conference" breakfast.  Branch gave a legislative update and discussed a wide range of topics, including higher education in Texas and the current redistricting news.

Rep. Dan Branch (R-Dallas) joined other Dallas County Republican House members at Dallas County Republican Party headquarters to file for re-election.  Branch visited with DCRP Chairman Wade Emmert and his colleagues and also spoke to members of the media about his re-election campaign.

Rep. Dan Branch (R-Dallas) spoke to the Public Affairs Luncheon Club at the group's November meeting.  Rep. Will Hartnett (R-Dallas) introduced Branch.  Branch spoke on the Power of Education in Texas and the recent Texas redistricting developments.

Rep. Dan Branch (R-Dallas) visited East Dallas' Stonewall Jackson Elementary to visit with students, teachers and PTA members.  Branch toured Stonewall Gardens, the on-campus garden science center, and helped lead the morning announcements with a group of 3rd grade students.

Rep. Dan Branch (R-Dallas) spoke to the UT-Dallas PreLaw students and alumni on the UT-Dallas campus in Richardson.  Branch provided a briefing to the group on the legislative session and bills affecting the legal profession.

Rep. Dan Branch (R-Dallas) was on the field as the SMU Mustangs hosted the Tulane Green Wave.  Branch honored Dallas ISD's 2011-2012 Teacher of the Year Karen Marx with a flag flown over the Capitol in Austin, and then officiated the coin toss ceremony.  Following the coin toss, Branch visited with SMU Vice President Brad Cheves and former SMU football great Eric Dickerson.  SMU won the game 45-24, earning bowl eligibility for the third straight season.

Rep. Dan Branch (R-Dallas) was on hand to celebrate the centennial of Ben Milam Elementary School in Uptown Dallas.  Rep. Branch joined Milam Principal Anna Gamez and current and former Milam students and teachers to commemorate the day.  Branch later presented a resolution and flag to Principal Gamez, and visited with several Milam graduates from the 1920s and 1930s.

The SMU John G. Tower Center for Political Studies welcomed former President George W. Bush and Gov. Mitch Daniels (R-Indiana) to the SMU campus.  Rep. Dan Branch (R-Dallas), Chair of the Tower Center Board, introduced President Bush, who introduced Gov. Daniels.
