Branch's bill

On July 14, Gov. Rick Perry signed into law a bill authored by State Rep. Dan Branch (R-Park Cities) to enable the creation of an affordable malpractice insurance defense policy for retired health-care providers. The law will allow retired medical providers to volunteer in charity clinics without the threat of nuisance lawsuits.
